Several years ago, at an STC awards banquet, a regular restaurant patron approached me to ask what was going on. When I told him about the STC and the awards he replied "Oh, boring people doing boring jobs!" and left. While some of our day-today work may be boring for some people, I resent being referred to as a boring person. Not everything related to technical documentation is boring and staid. I submit the following to help dispel that myth. --Brian
